About the Facilitator 

 

Yosef G. Gurevitch L.C.S.W. is a cognitive behavioral therapist. He maintains a private practices in both Monsey, New York and Lakewood, New Jersey. He has completed the practicum in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), formerly known as the professional internship program, and the Teacher Development Intensive; an advanced MBSR teacher training, at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Center for Mindfulness. He has also completed an intensive residential training program in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) with Zindel Segal, Co-Developer MBCT. In addition, he attended training programs by Steven Hayes, Developer of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other senior ACT trainers.
